The Trains at NorthPark

Our signature event, The Trains at NorthPark, has returned for its 38th year this November 2025. Exhibit Dates: November 15, 2025- January 4, 2026

Event Details:

The Trains at NorthPark, benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, is back for the 2025-2026 season. For the past 38 years, The Trains at NorthPark miniature train exhibit has delighted generations of Dallas families as one of our city’s premier holiday traditions. From November 15, 2025 through January 4, 2026, your family can visit the Trains in its brand-new location on Level One, across from Kona Grill. This is a great, interactive experience for all ages that also supports a great cause. When you purchase a ticket or buy a railcar, you’re giving to the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, a home-away-from-home for families who have traveled to Dallas for their child’s medical care. So make sure to add “Visit the Trains at NorthPark” to your families’ holiday to-do list.

This holiday season, Ronald McDonald House of Dallas brings exciting new experiences to The Trains at NorthPark! In partnership with Dallas Children’s Theater and Booker T. Washington High School’s Theatre Conservatory, RMHD debuts Choo-Choo Tales, a live storytelling series featuring “Flora and the Train”—directed by DCT’s Emily Ernst and written by Esau Price—on December 2, 9, 16, and 23 at 11 a.m. Guests can also enjoy the inaugural Art on the Rails, showcasing a breathtaking, hand-painted train by renowned artist JD Miller of Samuel Lynne Galleries. This one-of-a-kind Reflectionism-inspired piece is available for auction, with proceeds benefiting RMHD families. In addition, Sensory Friendly Hours, presented by Children’s Health, will provide a calm and inclusive experience on select Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Together, these special features make The Trains at NorthPark an unforgettable experience for your family.
