Information for our guest families
Who can stay at the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas?
Seriously ill or injured children (and their families) who are under the age of 22 and are receiving treatment in a pediatric environment in the Dallas area
The following requirements must be met to stay at the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.
buying viagra The child must have a permanent address at least 40 miles from Dallas. All adults, including patients 18 and older, staying in the house must have current, valid government issued photo identification and pass a criminal background check.
PLEASE NOTE: The initial referral must be made by a social worker where the child is being treated in Dallas, or a Medicaid worker (Medical Transportation). At this time, we do NOT accept email referrals.
levitra generic Once the initial referral has been made, Ronald McDonald House of Dallas will contact the family to confirm room availability. We cannot guarantee placement until the day of need. Ronald McDonald House reserves the right to verify appointments with the medical service provider.
Are you a returning family?
Returning families may call and put their name on our waiting list and call to verify availability the day placement is needed. If your previous stay was six months ago or longer, you will need to have a new referral from a Social Worker or Medicaid worker (Medical Transportation/Texas Medicaid).
Does it cost anything to stay at the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas?
During their stay at Ronald McDonald House of Dallas all guests are provided lodging, meals, laundry facilities and many other services. In order to offset some of these costs, we suggest a contribution of $15 per night. However, if this presents a hardship for a family, arrangements can be made with the Manager on Duty. No one has ever been turned away from the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas because they couldn’t afford to pay.
