Our Impact

Since opening our doors four decades ago, we've been able to help thousands of families through our programs

In 2023, we served over 1,500 families through our programs, including 1,234 families at the House. We also:

Had 23,836 overnight stays
916 visits to the Family Room at Scottish Rite Frisco
Provided 30,370 meals
Served families from 41 states and 13 countries
Had 3,064 volunteers support our mission

Donations are always accepted from families, but no one has ever been turned away because of an inability to pay. The cost per night to house a family is approximately $132— a cost largely covered by individual and corporate donors, community organizations, and special events. In 2022, the out-of-pocket savings for an average two-week stay was approximately $3,891 per family.
