Donations are always accepted from families, but no one has ever been turned away because of an inability to pay. The cost per night to house a family is approximately $132— a cost largely covered by individual and corporate donors, community organizations, and special events. In 2022, the out-of-pocket savings for an average two-week stay was approximately $3,890 per family.
